The Allergy Team is delighted to have partnered with Greggs to launch a new colleague Allergy Forum.

For businesses, getting your whole team on board with allergy management is really important for keeping your customers safe and supporting your staff at work.

An Allergy Forum spreads awareness, encourages collective responsibility for allergy safety and gives agency to employees with an interest in this common medical condition. It also promotes inclusivity so that your customers with food allergy feel welcome and valued.

The Greggs Allergy Forum will work to:

  • Embed and enhance allergen awareness throughout the business
  • Share best-practice around managing food allergies
  • Share key colleague feedback and suggestions with senior management

    Who can join the Greggs Allergy Forum?

    Colleagues working in Greggs’ shops, at a manufacturing or logistics site, on the road, head office or those with personal experience of living with food allergy, are being encouraged to join.

    It is important that a range of perspectives feed into the Forum and that it reflects the diverse workforce at the company.

    How will the Forum operate?

    The Greggs Allergy Forum will meet throughout the year, chaired by The Allergy Team. The Allergy Team supports hundreds of families living with food allergy – we will share our expertise where appropriate and moderate the discussion to ensure these sessions are collaborative, thought-provoking and have lasting value.
