Chat with other allergy families
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious or have something positive to share about your food allergy journey, we’d love to chat!
Our meet-ups are informal, online get-togethers for the mums, dads and carers of food allergic children. Think virtual coffee morning, where you can swap tips and share highs and lows.
We meet on Zoom and encourage everyone to keep their videos on so that we get to know each other better. But don’t worry, if you’re feeding a baby or trying to get kids to bed, it’s a very relaxed gathering.
We hold our meet-ups on the second Monday of every month from 8-9 pm. They’re free to join for subscribers to our newsletter, just click on the dates to sign up.
*7th August meet-up: due to popular demand this meet-up will focus on the topic of eating out with allergies. Do come along to share tips and experiences.

Meet-ups for The Allergy Team’s Starting Primary School course
In addition to our general meet-ups, we also hold online get-togethers for parents and carers who are either currently taking part in our Starting Primary School course. These meet-ups take place on the first Monday of the month and are a brilliant opportunity to discuss topics covered by the course, to share tips and to talk through how school life is going!
Our Starting Primary School course is for parents and carers whose food-allergic children are about to start primary school. It covers everything you need to know, including what to discuss at your first meetings with the school, how to fill out medical forms and care plans and shares tips to help your child navigate lunchtimes and social situations. You can find out more here.
