It’s brilliant, so comprehensive! The high number of professionals [you hear from] gives the training great validity.
Why our training works:
Our training is different and that’s why our safety messaging sticks. You’ll hear from a range of experts, filmed in real schools and we use our experience of visiting hundreds of schools up and down the country to deliver practical, solutions-focused training that is relevant in any setting.
Essential allergy and asthma training
Our Foundation course includes 60 minutes of video, plus quizzes to test staff knowledge. It covers all the allergy and asthma training required by Benedict’s Law. Staff can complete the whole course (approx 75-90 mins) in one go, or module by module, at their own pace.
Keep track of staff progress
You have full visibility on which members of staff have completed the training and who needs a reminder.
Foundation and Extended levels of training
Our training includes a Foundation course for all school staff and an Extended course for senior leaders, decision makers and those with a special interest in allergy. The Extended course is a ‘bolt-on’, that selected staff should complete in addition to the Foundation level. We’ll help you identify which staff are best suited to each course.
Refresher course to boost knowledge
Staff should complete allergy and anaphylaxis training annually but we don’t want them to go through the whole course again. That’s why we have developed a Refresher course for year 2 to keep things fresh. This is included for free with your school subscription.
We take care of enrolling your staff
When you sign up for our training we will enrol your staff. We will send them individual login details so they can re-visit the training whenever they like.
Quizzes to test competency
Quizzes test competency with a pass mark of 80%.
We cover inclusion and mental health
While safety has to be your main priority, it’s really important to balance this with inclusion for pupils with allergies. Living with a chronic medical condition can impact wellbeing and mental health and we’ll help you support your pupils so they can enjoy every aspect of school life.
