SCHOOL ALLERGY REVIEWS AND THE SCHOOL ALLERGY REGISTER
Where invited, The Allergy Team visits schools to assess their practice in managing allergies either for an Audit(also known as a Reviewor to see if the school meets Schools Allergy Code criteria and can be awarded a trust mark and join the Schools Allergy Register. Assessments for the Schools Allergy Register can also be carried out online. Any accreditation given to a school following a visit or assessment speaks only to such accreditation having been given as of the date the visit or assessment was conducted. The Allergy Team shall bear no responsibility for, or liability to, any school or other User for any standards required to be maintained as part of the Schools Allergy Register. Any assessment made or approval given for a school to join the Schools Allergy Register is based only on facts and information made available to The Allergy Team as at the date such an assessment or visit was conducted.
While The Allergy Team will make all reasonable attempts to support a school’s application to join the Schools Allergy Register, only schools assessed as meeting the criteria laid out in the Schools Allergy Code will be added to the Schools Allergy Register and receive a trust mark. Our assessments are rigorous and we work hard with schools to support them to meet the standard required. However, we understand that schools are complex organisations with staff turnover, changes in cohort and budget constraints so we are practical in our approach. Membership of the Schools Allergy Register and permission to display Schools Allergy Register trust mark may be withheld or withdrawn at any time if The Allergy Team considers that a school is not meeting the criteria set out in the Schools Allergy Code. Fees are not refundable in the event that a school does not receive accreditation (including but not limited to where a school’s accreditation is withdrawn) as a result of failing to meet the standards set by the Schools Allergy Code.
As a User, you hereby agree that you will not display any trust mark during any period of time in which you are not a current member of the Schools Allergy Register or in any other manner without the prior approval of The Allergy Team, whether fraudulently or otherwise.
DESIGNATED ALLERGY LEAD TRAINING
When a school buys a place on our Designated Allergy Lead Course, they will be asked to nominate a delegate. The nominated delegate will receive exclusive access to our resources for one year from the date of purchase. These resources include access to our Learning Portal and Hub which hosts the e-learning modules and resources, tailored Member emails, drop-in sessions and live webinars. Access to these resources is strictly limited to the named delegate. Resources, including training materials and live sessions, must not be shared with or played to other staff members or individuals.
By booking a place on The Allergy Team’s Designated Allergy Lead training, the delegate agrees to complete both parts of the course: the online self-study module before the Live Masterclass. Failure to complete the online self-study in advance will result in the delegate being refused attendance to the live masterclass and they will need to rebook and may incur a fee.
Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Places are limited and allocated on a firstcome, firstserved basis. Delegates must have a working camera and microphone to participate in the live masterclass which will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. It is the delegate’s responsibility to ensure their equipment is functional in advance. Failure to meet these requirements may result in that person being removed from the class.
The Live Masterclass will be recorded for monitoring purposes and used internally to improve our services. Microsoft Teams will make it clear that the class is being recorded.
We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to course content and delivery to reflect updated best practice or guidance. Our team is committed to providing accurate, up-to-date information throughout this live, interactive class. While we strive for the highest standards, the dynamic nature of best practice means that occasional updates or clarifications may be necessary. We encourage delegates to apply their professional judgement when implementing guidance in their school setting, as individual circumstances may vary.
Certificates and pins are valid for one year from the Live Masterclass and renewal will require completing our refresher training. Purchasing the renewal training will extend access to our Learning Portal and Resources.
Where our Designated Allergy Lead Course is accessed through a free place via the School Allergy Register, the Hub and related resources will be available in line with the School Allergy Register subscription. Therefore, access to resources may terminate sooner than the one-year validity period (in line with the School Allergy Register subscription) unless renewed through the School Allergy Register or the Designated Allergy Lead Course separately.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
This information applies to features of our website which are accessible to schools and corporate members only (which require you to log in).
GENERAL
The Allergy Team uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) technology in certain functions of our website to support Users in accessing information and our review of information provided to The Allergy Team by you in a timely manner. When chatbot features are used, only the text entered by the User is shared with the relevant processing services for the purpose of generating a response. Data is transmitted securely using HTTPS/TLS encryption. OpenAI does not use this information to train its models and retains it only for the duration of processing. Voiceflow also processes data solely to deliver the configured conversational experience and in accordance with its published data handling practices (available here: https://www.voiceflow.com/privacy).
Operational logs and automation workflows created within n8n are held for up to 15 days to support fault resolution and service continuity, after which they are automatically deleted. Voiceflow platform logs are retained in line with its standard operational policies, which are available on request.
The Allergy Team take reasonable measures to maintain the security and reliability of its systems, but cannot accept responsibility for any interruption or error arising from third-party providers, including AWS, DigitalOcean, Voiceflow, or OpenAI.

Your use of the chatbot is entirely at your own risk, and you acknowledge that the chatbot is not a substitute for any professional, allergy or medical advice or emergency medical services.
