DESIGNATED ALLERGY LEAD REGISTER
Designated Allergy Leads on this Register have completed specialist CPD-accredited training with The Allergy Team, the school allergy experts.
Benedict’s Law says all Local Authority maintained schools, academies and pupil referral units should have a named senior leader who oversees allergy safety policies. This will be become a legal requirement for all schools in early 2027.
Our training ensures Designated Allergy Leads have an in depth understanding of allergy and their obligations under Benedict’s Law, and ensures they feel confident and supported to lead on allergy safety in their setting.
