Whether you’ve got a child starting school, moving on to secondary or you’re worried about a new school year, this Q&A covers a wide range of topics that might be on your mind – from managing anxiety and carrying medication to navigating school meals.

In this hour-long session, Registered Nurse Karen Cragg, who works at a secondary school in Cheshire, gives lots of reassurance to families worried about coming across as the “anxious parent” or struggling to get a school to take food allergy seriously.  Not only does she support many children and their families, ensuring they get the most out of school life, but Karen also has a son with a serious food allergy, so she understands a parent’s perspective.

Karen gave up her time for free to record this Q&A on 30th August 2022.
