Immunotherapy, food allergy research & managing allergies

Date recorded: 29th June 2021

In our latest Q&A with Professor Adam Fox, he answered questions from parents and carers ranging from “how can we stop new allergies developing?” and “how much eczema steroid cream is too much?” to “what’s the best way to work through the milk ladder?” and “can food allergies affect a child’s growth and development?”. As ever, Professor Fox’s answers were comprehensive and insightful but there was one topic he was particularly keen to talk about: oral immunotherapy treatment (OIT) and the progress on getting it licensed in the UK and more widely available.

Adam is a Professor of Paediatric Allergy at King’s College London and President of the British Society of Allergy & Clinical Immunology (BSACI). He gave up his time for free to enable us to keep costs down and the whole webinar is here to watch again. It was recorded on 25th June 2021 and if you sign up to our newsletter access is half-price at just £10.

Watch it here for £20 (£10 for subscribers to our newsletter)
